Google is reportedly in advanced stage of production of the new Nexus in partnership with HTC, but despite rumors, the processor remains uncertain. This time, however, a new leaked benchmark shows that the two new devices will be more powerful than previously thought:. Both can bring Snapdragon 821
The benchmark was performed on CPU- Z, and the picture is clear: the chipset model displayed is the MSM8996pro, ie the most advanced Qualcomm to date, first released in Zenfone 3 Deluxe. The processor usage would not be surprised at the Marlin model, which is seen as the Nexus line of the double top. However, the test was performed in the variant Sailfish, which would be the entry version.
If confirmed Snapdragon 821 Nexus Sailfish, the new line of Nexus represent a change of direction in relation to 2015 launches on occasion, 5X Nexus and Nexus 6P similarities brought into the camera and biometric sensor, but differ in the processor, memory and design.
If the two new Nexus expected to come equipped with the same processor, one of the few differences between them will be in the material used in the body. Rumors indicate that the model Sailfish have plastic finish with metal edges, and Marlin will be metal entirely.
It is important to note that the uncertainty surrounding the new Nexus processor occurs partly because of the difficulty of benchmark apps to differentiate the Snapdragon 820 Snapdragon 821 with 100% of assertiveness. This means that even if the leaked image is real, there are chances that the CPU-Z has displayed the MSM8996pro model by mistake.
