Android 6.0 Marshmallow is far from being the most popular version of Android, but an old Nexus tablet can now take advantage of the system. Independent developers finally managed to make Android 6 in AOSP version (acronym for Android Open Source Project), open source, on a Nexus 7 manufactured in 2012 by Asus.
The work is long term, and comes being developed since the middle of 2015. According to the leader of the team responsible for the feat, absolutely all resources operate well enough to use Marshmallow on a daily basis. There would be a bug even, except for Bluetooth activation. – The connection works, but only league in the second attempt
Together with Android 6.0 AOSP, the developer released functional installer also of CyanogenMod 13 for the Nexus 7. Iso means that in addition to the pure system, the first Nexus tablet owners may choose to install the most famous custom ROM in the world that offers several features additional natively.
the adaptation was achieved thanks to a Linux kernel modification in version 3.4. To install one of the systems on the device, you must first apply a custom recovery like TWRP. The procedure is not suitable for those who have no knowledge of the system and never realized root or changed ROM.
If you face the challenge and take the risk, for installing files are all on the XDA Developers forum, whose link you will find in “Source” in the footer – proceed at your own risk
