Google’s new launcher is under development and leaked online earlier this month. Now, less than a week after the leak, Chris Lacy, the developer of the Action Launcher released a beta version of the launcher created by him with several new Nexus Launcher.
Among the main features, we can highlight the button extinction to open the application drawer . Now, to have access to all the apps installed on your smartphone, you need to slide the bottom finger up. Furthermore, the addition of a new widget called “Google Pill” replaces the search bar that is now present in the Now Launhcer. In the video below you can see the new features in action.
- Alpha integration “All Applications” renovated Nougat. Slide up the dock to reveal all applications, or continue using the shortcut All Applications. It can be activated via Settings – & gt; app drawer – & gt; style Nougat (Alpha).
- Add circumflex page indicator (^) (option “Nougat Style (Alpha)” must be enabled.)
- Add colorful dock plate (option “Nougat Style (Alpha)” must be enabled.)
- Add Google “Pill” and date widget combined.
- Add “Google Pill” as a solo widget.
- Add date widget.
As the Action Launcher is still in beta, it is not available to all users. It is estimated that the application will be released to the general public in two weeks. If you want to test the beta version 3.9, you can do it soon through specific channel for the program.
