Comparison: 5 vs Nexus Moto X (2014) – Tudocelular.com

The hottest smartphones when it comes to upgrading the operating system, are the new Moto X Nexus – taking into account that only the Nexus 5 is available in Brazil. We put each of them side by side to compare their features, tools and everything else that both devices deliver. The side of Motorola, we have a screen 5.2-inch AMOLED , with Full HD resolution, processor Snapdragon 801 four cores running at 2.5 GHz and with an Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal space . The next Google (by LG hands with), there is a screen True HD IPS + 4.95 inch , Full HD resolution, processor Snapdragon 800 four cores running at 2.3 GHz accompanied by an Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM memory, with 16 or 32 GB of internal space (16 GB, the model tested).

The design of each model is quite different, with a more rounded back in Moto X and more straight within the Nexus 5. While the Nexus 5 is a smartphone that was born out of a request from Google, Moto X was born in Motorola which was below the control of Google. Even with the “same head”, the Moto X best external building features, better quality in workmanship and material more firmly in the hands. The AMOLED screen is bigger and the Moto X, IPS against the Nexus. 5 – AMOLED deal better with direct sunlight, while IPS works well with colors and contrast

The camera has very similar quality, with little change between the two sensors. In photo size, we have 13 megapixels in Moto X and 8 megapixels in Nexus 5, ability to record videos in 4K and the Motorola handset in LG’s Full HD. The video has great audio pickup in both cell while the front camera is better (higher resolution and quality) in Moto X (2 megapixels, 1.3 megapixels against the Nexus 5).

The battery delivers basically the same performance, since both use the same 2.300mAh. A full day of moderate use is guaranteed, which includes some browsing on 4G, with more on Wi-Fi, some use of GPS and gaming here and there. Looking for more sensors, we accelerometer, gyro, proximity, digital compass, and barometer in both models, with only thermometer in Moto X -. To measure the local temperature much more accurately

The cost of the Nexus 5 is lower than what is charged by Moto X. If you seek more resources than pure Android, the Moto X worth every penny – mainly because of the voice assistant and screen who gets notifications that use little power. In extra features, but not something you will not use, is the Moto X best business, especially for the more powerful camera and the external material. If your savings are small, the Nexus 5 is a smartphone that will not give you headaches for at least a year and a half.
