The XDA forum is very well known among users of mobile devices by distinguished members, including developers forgotten or resources not originally designed by the big manufacturers. One of these names is Chainfire, creator of the famous SuperSU application to assign root access on several Android devices. The developer does not waste time and warns that is already available an updated version of the CF-Auto-Root tool to ensure root access on devices with Android 5.0 Nexus Lollipop.
Among the users who can easily rootear their devices with the new tool are the owners of the models;
- Nexus 4
- Nexus 5
- Nexus 6
- Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013)
- Nexus 9
- Nexus 10
This is a change in the system that requires knowledge and attention to prevent permanent damage to the device, making it into a very expensive paper weight. It is worth remembering that you must have unlocked bootloader and reboot your device in fastboot mode to allow the CF-Root-Auto SuperSU install the system. Do not forget to keep a backup of your personal files.
It is important to note also that apply root access from Android 5.0 brings a lollipop inconvenience to users, the inability to receive new updates via OTA. More information and all the files needed for the procedure can be found on the page dedicated to Chainfire CF-Root-Auto by clicking here.
