New Nexus will be manufactured by HTC – SAPO Tek

After resorted to Huawei and LG to manufacture the two Nexus presented in 2015, comes the rumor that Google should again present two new smartphones this year but this time with the touch of HTC.

So says journalist Evan Blass technology in your Twitter account. “HTC is building a pair of Android N devices to Google that are internally dubbed the M1 and S1″, you can read a tweet posted on Wednesday.

Although the information is only an unconfirmed rumor, Evan Blass is known to reveal unofficial information that ultimately is confirmed shortly afterwards. The story turned out to be corroborated by the website Android Police already Thursday and in January, the possibility was already discussed in Weibo Chinese forum. The technology blog also advances the M1 and S1 code names are Marlin abbreviations and Sailfish, respectively.

To confirm, this will not be the first time that Google and HTC close a partnership for build a smartphone. In 2010 the Taiwanese company was responsible for developing the Nexus One.
