Last week we saw a comparative camera among smartphones Galaxy S7, LG G5, HTC Nexus 10 and 6P. Now we are facing another comparison with the same models, this time analyzing the quality of the videos, rather than just images captured by the camera. The test consists of measuring the amount of detail recorded in the filming for each of them, as well as test which offers better stabilization to ensure recordings without jitter.
All models except the Nexus 6P, have optical image stabilizer. The smartphone from Google manufactured by Huawei only offers an electronic solution for this task. The result of the absence of a more advanced solution is quite evident in the comparison below, where the Nexus line member presented the video with the highest amount of jitter. G5 and S7 offer a performance very similar, from the HTC 10 soon after in the question image stabilization.
In terms of quality of recorded video, the S7 presented more saturated colors, with something typical of Samsung that tries to make images and videos more beautiful but less realistic. Nexus and HTC 6P 10 show cooler colors, while the G5 offers a next quality of S7, but not overdo the contrast. In the end, the Nexus 6P could deliver the best result here in the item exposure and color balance.
In the night test we see that the Nexus 6P has the lowest amount of noise, followed by the Galaxy S7, G5 and HTC 10. in terms of quality and color balance, the S7 was first, followed by G5 Nexus and HTC 6P 10. Finally, the test in slow motion shows that the smartphone Samsung stands out compared to the others. Nexus 6P does a great job as well, followed by HTC 10, while the G5 ranked last to show a bad color balance, and exaggerate exposure to film the sky and clouds.
