N Android Developer Preview will be available for … – AndroidGeek

It is usual that Google make betas (or Developer Preview) new versions of Android. This practice started with Android Lollipop in 2014, the Marshmallow was no exception and as we know, the same goes for the Android N.

To date these “early” versions of the Android operating system are only released for devices of “home” line of Google, the Nexus. These devices are built on partnerships with other manufacturers (Samsung, LG, Huawei) strictly according to the Google ideas and your OS is what we call “Android Pure”, ie run Android just like it was designed by Google, without bloatware or third party applications.

However it was discovered a clue that indicates the availability of the Android N Developer Preview non-Nexus devices . A Reddit user (FUNExtreme) found some HTML code lines hidden from the official website of Android N Preview which clearly makes reference to support for more devices, and even including devices from Google’s partners.

” More supported devices, including devices from OEM partners “

it is also made reference to updates OTA ( over the air ) without the need to replace the ROM (no “flashing”). The question is how Google thinks “take off this boot” for the non-Nexus case of devices since as we all know, the manufacturers interfaces like Samsung or LG are highly customized and contain many differences for Android “Stock “.

However, we must bear in mind that these lines of code do not give any guarantees and better even wait for Google to decide on the matter. But it will be at least very exciting if there is the possibility of having the Android N a little early, is not it?
