Lollipop Android 5.0 is available for the Nexus devices – IGN Portugal

Updates “Over-the-air” (OTA) to Android Lollipop, version 5.0 of Google’s operating system, is now available for the Nexus devices.

The Wi-Fi Nexus 7, 5 and Nexus Nexus 10 can update the old firmware KitKat for the new operating system. According to the official forums of Nexus, Nexus Nexus 6 and 9 will receive minor improvements to fix some bugs.

The Nexus users who do not want to wait for the OTA update Lollipop, may install the factory image of Lollipop on your devices now being available for the Nexus 10 Nexus 7 [2013] (Wi-Fi), Nexus 7 [2012] (Wi-Fi) and Nexus 5. If you do, is advisable doings a backup of your phone.

The Motorola smartphones were the first to receive the final version of Android 5.0.
