First Android ROMs Lollipop begin to emerge for Nexus … – Tudocelular.com

The source code Android Lollipop was released yesterday and the XDA developers have started to compile their ROMs for various devices. The first was the Nexus 4, who received the news at the hands of the dev CoM , bringing completely pure Android, known as AOSP . However, this build does not have the Google apps with this, you must install the Android 4.4.4 GApps of KitKat .

But the Nexus 7 received the same treatment the hands of another developer, Scrosler . In this case the device was awarded the applications ported to the Google Nexus 9. To take full advantage of the ROM, you need update the bootloader your Nexus 7 before. This will ensure that the system will work without any problem.

As for the Nexus 5 we have three different ROMs. The first is a pure AOSP version without the apps from Google, which was compiled by the dev OldDroid . Installation is done via fastboot and requires more advanced knowledge to do so. The second option is the Second Lollipop ROM dev Herna . This also follows the same AOSP code, but it has changed for the better performance and lower consumption kernel. And lastly we have the ROM developed by Yashade2001 offers a cleaner version of the system to make it as light as possible.

And not only Nexus line of devices were awarded Android Lollipop. We also have the Xperia Z who received new hands through the Thomas1991_12 , but in this case she does not have the same stability too. So it is not recommended for everyday use.

These are just the first ones ROMs begin to emerge. Even before Google officially launch the Android 5.0 for the Nexus line, we already have many others.
