Review – LG Nexus 5X – PCGuia

With the arrival of the new Nexus, Google decided to create two models from different manufacturers, LG is the manufacturer chosen for the new Nexus 5X (the 6P is made by Huawei). This model, which offers the best price / quality ratio, comes equipped with a touchscreen of 5.2 inches, capable of reproducing images with 1920 x 1080 pixels, equivalent to a 423 dots per inch density.

Using an all-plastic chassis (in reality are polycarbonates injected into the mold), this resembles the previous Nexus models produced by LG, with only two elements that stand out: a circle created to act as a fingerprint sensor and above this, the image sensor placed prominently. This, being gone, you can generate with some ease streaks on the lens. The sensor has a resolution of 12.3 MP and distinguished by wide aperture of f / 2.0, the use of an autofocus system effective infrared (LG technology) and the possibility of video capture in both 4K (the 30fps) and slow motion (the 120fps). The Nexus LG sins, however, the software used, which is the basics of Google, overly simple and accusing the lack of features and access to manual modes.

Internally this Nexus 5X uses the Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 808 eight-core 1.8GHz (same as LG G4), 2 GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of storage space, which unfortunately can not be expanded, as there is no space for MicroSD cards.

the battery used is 2700 mAh and can not be replaced, but this is not a problem, since the self obtained in the tests was surprisingly high. This has the particularity to use the new connection USB Type C, which enables faster loading, but on the other hand requires that you have to walk with the transformer always with you when traveling; furthermore prevents the use of current laptop batteries.

In terms of performance, it is at the expected level, not only by the use of fast processor as the presence of the latest version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
