Brazilian users of Nexus 5 manufactured by LG in parceia with Google, received on Tuesday (9) a security update for the month of February. It is recommended whenever that everyone update the device patch to prevent malfunctions in the device, and, of course, security. The update weighs only 8.0MB and can be downloaded by both Wi-Fi as the device’s mobile network.

As with any other security updates released by Google, you will receive a notification on your device warning it is now available for download. You do not need to update the device at the time, since the update, despite being recommended, not required.

If by chance the monthly security update February is not displayed on your Nexus 5, just go in device settings, scroll down the page to the tab

“About phone” and then tap “system Updates”; this part, you simply touch “Check for Updates” to the device from the search. In the same “on” menu, the system shows what the latest security patch installed on your machine.
