Google may take a gesture unique to the Pixel for Nexus 6P and 5X – Tudocelular.com

smartphones Google Pixel and Pixel XL came out of the factory with Android 7.1, still not released in final version for other devices. The Nexus devices latest will still inherit this variant of the Android Nougat and, it seems, at least, another unique feature. The search giant does not rule out to take to the apparatus, the gestures on the biometric sensor.

In response to Android Police, Google said that it is evaluating the possibility of releasing a firmware update with the new for the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. This is because mobile phones, the last with pure Android before of the Pixel, come with the same sensor fingerprints of the devices that were released a few weeks ago.

For now, it is worth remembering, the gestures of the biometric sensor only support a single command: by sliding over the circle on the back, the Android displays or hides the curtain of notifications. to Provide the Nexus of gestures on the sensor, therefore, is a question, only software update.

If Google decide so, you should release an update for the devices, possibly along with the monthly package of security fixes. There is still the chance of it happening since the Android 7.1 Nougat and finally exit the Preview and will be released in final version for the Nexus.
