Nexus 6P suffers from ‘death’ the sudden when you upgrade to Android 7.0 … – Tudocelular.com

Owners of the smartphone Nexus 6P, the last of the family Nexus before the arrival of the new Google Pixel has recently arrived to Brazil, have had a serious problem with the update the unit to Android 7.0 Nougat. According to reports from multiple users on Reddit and in videos posted on YouTube, the cell phone would be “dying” unexpectedly even with a lot of energy left in the battery.

In a series of videos that show the problem, a user displays a Nexus 6P running Android 7.0 with 53% of battery turns off quickly after taking a couple of photos with the app’s native camera. After the shutdown, the device does not respond to the on/off button, and only returns to active when connected to a power source using the original charger.

The problem would be occurring with models of the device running the final version of Android 7.0, already out of the testing program from Google. According to reports, the failure can be resolved with a reset complete of the settings of the smartphone, or, in some cases, only with the forced installation of the Preview of the Android 7.1.

Still do not know the real cause of the problem, but it is certain that is occurring with a part of the users. It remains unclear also if the “death’ sudden only occurs in some countries with builds of Android customized by the carriers or not. For now, the tip is to reinstall the ROM and test the battery life and, mainly, the functioning of the camera.

The Android 7.1. Nougat, which debuted at the Google Pixel, is still in the testing phase in the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, but should be released in final version soon, possibly solving this and other bugs.

The Huawei Nexus 6P is available on the Submarine by R$ 2.499.
