Google Camera v4.2 (version of the Google Pixel) available for the … – AndroidGeek

One of the strongest points of the new phones from Google are their cameras, and that Google is keen to promote with great pride. In addition to its fantastic sensors, to complement the hardware, Google has added some new features to its camera application in the Google Pixel. Thus was born the Google Camera V4.2 which for now is exclusive to the Pixel, but thanks to the developers of the famous forum XDA , a modified version of the application is available to anyone who has a Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X.

This version of the application is available for download, but does not update your current Camera application Google, since the same has been modified. The application should work on any device with Android Nougat, but currently seems to work only in the Nexus, 6P and 5X, a time that some users of other smartphones, for example the Nexus 6, are reporting some errors in the application preventing the same work.

Among the many novelties of this version of the Google Camera v4.2, are the lock auto focus and exposure control. To access these options, you should press the area that you want to lock the focus, then adjust the exposure with the slider that is on the left side of the screen.

For those who want to experience the application, the same is available for download here.
