Nexus 6 finally gets the Android version Nougat – Android Emotions

Since the update with the version of Nougat was officially released for the Nexus 5, Nexus 9 Wi-Fi, and various other devices from Google, users of the Nexus 6 have been left out of the party with just your Android N Developer Previews. Shortly after, Google said that the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 LTE would receive the update for Nougat in the following weeks. Already it’s been three weeks since this was announced, and the Android 7.0 Nougat is to be finally released for the users of the Nexus 6.

The update seems to be coming to all these devices around the world, irrespective of whether they are enrolled in the beta program or not. The update has a size of around 860MB and has the build number NBD90Z. This also brings the latest security patch from October 5. If you have not received the update via OTA you may have a system changes, Google has released both the factory images as the images OTA.

it Is strange that Google has not released these pictures a few hours before, when the updates of security patches of all the other devices that were released, but at least this new version comes to this Nexus device. Unfortunately, the owners of the Nexus 9 LTE will have to wait still a little longer.
