LG introduces the LG U: a twin fake Nexus 5X – AndroidGeek

After the flop with the LG G5, LG does not want to lose more ground to its competitors, and today launched a new smartphone. We’re talking about the LG U, a device with characteristics very similar to a certain device Nexus released the not past, the LG Nexus 5X.

LG U

This “twin fake” Nexus 5X was presented in the homeland of LG, South Korea, and comes equipped with a screen of 5.2″ of Full HD resolution. The dimensions of the new device (147.6 x 73.2 x 7.7 mm and 135 g weight) and the front face are virtually the same as the smartphone created by Google and therefore the comparison becomes inevitable.

Both the phones come equipped with Android Marshmallow, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, and the similarities are here. In terms of processing, the LG U has a chip octa-core processor (possibly a Snapdragon 400 series) and a battery of 3000 mAh, while the Nexus 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 808 six-core and contains a cell of 2700 mAh.

There was a small upgrade in relation to the storage, as the LG U supports expansion via micro SD. From the point of view of the photo, the LG U comes with a rear camera of 13 MP and will have the capacity to take the best selfies with a front sensor of 8 MP in comparison with the module 12,3 MP + 5 MP Nexus 5X.

it Is in the back of the LG U what are the biggest differences to the model Nexus, with the loss of the sensor of fingerprints, and a glossy surface. Will be available in three different colors – black, white and pink – and will be available for purchase in South Korea in the coming days, with a price closer to €320. There is still no information about the availability of international LG U.
