Comparison: Nexus 6 vs Moto Maxx – Tudocelular.com

Motorola has created two very similar smartphones, but with different purposes and clients. The first is its most stout gadget launched last year, the Moto Maxx and it arrived with much more stout than the hardware Moto X . The second is basically the same phone, but with different body and Google, with name Nexus 6 . Both are extremely similar, but what does he offer better performance, better grip and better camera? This is what I will show now.

design

This is the point where the two cell become more distant. The Moto Maxx gained a totally unique look and created just for him, with thicker body (explain why in the next lines), back with nylon texture and edge that appears to be rubberized. All this delivers a very comfortable grip and very small feeling that the smartphone can slip from the hands. But the Nexus 6 took what was created with Moto X and added some details Maxx, increasing the screen. It has the same edge of the Moto X with back in different plastic and the same camera setting that is in the Moto X. The footprint it is more uncomfortable because of the thinner edges and back that slide with relative ease. It is huge, gigantic and this presents another problem: even if the pocket is not shallow, it will stay with a tip of the unit out. It is as it is.

Hardware

This is the point where almost everything is on one side, is seen on the other. Both smartphones carry the Snapdragon 805 running at 2.7 GHz with four cores, GPU Adreno 420 and 3 GB of RAM. The two screens are AMOLED and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the protection Gorilla Glass 3 is present on both sides. All the same, everything the same, but the battery change – and why Moto Maxx is thicker. The Maxx is from 3.900mAh against 3.220mAh the Nexus 6, which results in greater autonomy Maxx side than your competitor. The internal memory also changes, since the Bike Maxx begins and ends in the memory options 64 GB while the Nexus 6 was set to 32 GB or 64 GB, depends on the version selected. None of them has expanded by microSD. In performance, open Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on both sides and the result was basically the same, but the Nexus 6 could first open Twitter. Games, testing with Asphalt 8, the Moto Maxx opened well before and carried the track faster way. During gaming the frame rate per second is higher in the Maxx.

Camera

In numbers there is a pretty big difference here, as the Moto Maxx from 21 megapixels to 13 megapixels Nexus 6. As we know, megapixel alone says nothing about the quality and the outcome of the photos is very similar in both cell. In everyday images sharpness, color quality and contrast were very close in both cameras. In minute detail the Moto Maxx managed better color reproduction during the day. In night shots the Nexus 6 was the winner, but again with a very small difference and that does Moto Maxx a loser evil.

Conclusion

The Nexus 6 is a more expensive smartphone than the Moto Maxx, and the cheapest version of the Google phone still loses to bring half the internal memory that Moto Maxx delivery. As the performance difference and camera is very small and the footprint on the Maxx is more comfortable, and not be a hindrance in his pocket, our champion is the Moto Maxx.
