Comparison: Nexus 6 vs G3 – Tudocelular.com

LG was responsible for the construction of two of the line smartphones Nexus , which is now in the hands of Motorola . I decided to select the most recent representative of smartphones created with Google’s revenue, the Nexus 6 , to deal with the best smartphone that LG had last year, which is the G3 . Bora there?

design

The design lines of both devices may be different, but even that fit in places. When we look at the building materials, the Nexus 6 comes out ahead while delivering aluminum edges and a much more rigid plastic on the back than the product of the South Korean competitor. On Footprint in the comfort, the G3 comes out in front just by the lack of metallic material at the edges, working with a thickness slightly larger and a buckle on the back that fits better in hands. The exaggerated size of Nexus 6 also hinders, leaving the G3 the award in this category.

Hardware

The LG G3 takes a Snapdragon 801 processor running four cores at 2.5 GHz, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, GPU Adreno 330 and 16 GB of internal memory. Across the ring we have the Nexus 6 and its Snapdragon 805 running the same four cores, only at 2.7 GHz with 3 GB of RAM, GPU Adreno 420 and 32 or 64 GB of internal space. Only the G3 can expand the memory with a microSD card, which goes behind the back cover. In numbers the Nexus 6 wins in all the G3 and in everyday life, Facebook opened first in the Nexus 6, against Instagram and Twitter G3. Games, tested the Asphalt 8 that first opened also in G3, which shows that hardware numbers did not result in further advancement of Nexus 6.

Camera

The Nexus line has never been known as a great platform for photos, which continues here. The Nexus 6 has the same resolution as the G3, with 13 megapixels, and the final quality is far superior to the LG handset. In addition to the higher end quality, the G3 has a laser to help focus with much more speed -. It changes a lot, focus on G3 takes almost half the time Nexus 6

Conclusion

So far the G3 is the best value for high-end smartphones in Brazil and, for now, the Nexus 6 has not arrived here. The Nexus 6 has the advantage of Android update speed, AMOLED screen (which deals better with direct sunlight) and metal body, which comes with a hefty price tag far more than the G3. Even imagining a scenario where the Nexus 6 is in Brazil, the G3 would still be the winner of this comparison.
