When a launch of a new flagship is common neighbor is being bombarded by information and news leaks on this model. All eyes are focused on the New Nexus which should be announced this month or in early November. However, it is good to remind ourselves that the Google models prepared in the past and what we can expect from Nexus 6 .

The Nexus line is the ideal those searching for best Android experience, bringing the essentials developed by Google with fast and guaranteed updates. The HTC was the first close partnership with the Mountain View giant and thus giving life to the first Nexus.

Samsung was the second manufacturer who took care of the second and third generations of the Nexus line. Here in Brazil only the third version was released under the name Galaxy X. At this point, Google could not use the name Nexus in our territory due to use already registered by another company. With this, the second generation of Nexus was never released here, even though it was approved by Anatel . The third then had to hide the name Nexus, it’s out there called Galaxy Nexus.

Galaxy Nexus

It was this model that was born the controversial war on microSD card . From this point the Google decreed that, for the sake of Android, all manufacturers should do the same. Some were slow to follow this order, while others, like Samsung never want listened to the demands of the creator of Android and continued keeping the microSD slot in their models.

The Galaxy Nexus has good hardware for its time:

  • Display of 4.65 inches Super AMOLED HD
  •

  • SoC TI OMAP 4460 dual-core 1.2GHz
  •

  • 1GB RAM
  •

  • 16GB of internal space
  •

  • 5MP camera and 1.3MP
  •

  • Battery 1750mAh
  •

  • Android 4.0 (no longer receives updates from Google)
  •

  • Released in November 2011
  •

Nexus 4

Sai Samsung and LG enters. The Nexus 4 received various influences of its close cousin, the Optimus G. He kept the rear glass, which pleased many users to spend a sense of fancier smartphone. It was here that Google began practicing his subsidy policy in the USA , thus being able to offer the Nexus 4 for a very low price. . Then, really, he had an unbeatable value for money

The Nexus 4 has characteristics very similar to the Optimus G:

  • IPS screen 4.7-inch 1280×768
  •

  • SoC Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad-core
  •

  • 2GB of RAM
  •

  • 8 or 16GB of internal space
  •

  • 8MP and 1.3MP cameras
  •

  • Battery 2100mAh
  •

  • Android 4.2 (should receive your last update this year)
  •

  •

Nexus 5

LG continued in command of the Nexus line, drawing again on a product itself, in this case, the G2. However, the visual similarity is minimal, essentially only the internal hardware is common to both. Here Google has struggled to maintain cost-effective champion of the previous model, offering the new Nexus with up 32GB of internal space for just $ 350 on its release – half the price charged by its competitors.

The Nexus 5 has the following features:

  • IPS screen of 4.95 inch Full HD
  •

  • 800 SoC Snapdragon 2.3GHz quad-core
  •

  • 2GB of RAM
  •

  • 16 or 32 GB of internal memory
  •

  • 8MP and 1.3MP cameras
  •

  • Battery 2300mAh
  •

  • Android 4.4 (still receive some Android updates)
  •

  •

Nexus 6

What to expect from the new Nexus? Everything indicates that LG will not be responsible for it this time. Now the Motorola comes into play in bringing an inspired Moto X 2014 version is contemplated that this year we will have two versions – with a 5.2-inch screen and one with a 5.9 screen

What we know so far of the Nexus. 6:

  • AMOLED Screen 5.2 or 5.9 inch Quad HD
  •

  • 805 Snapdragon SoC quad-core 2,65GHz
  •

  • 3GB of RAM
  •

  • 32 or 64GB of internal space
  •

  • 2.1MP and 12MP cameras
  •

  • Battery 3200mAh (for the model with a 5.9 “screen)
  •

  • Android 5.0
  •

If this information is confirmed, this will be the first time that we have a Nexus with more powerful hardware than that to which it is derived. Of course, all this can be taken only as a rumor, since not many Google and Motorola least commented anything about the development of this new model

But the most important fact here is:. If Google can keep aggressive price on the new model, without doubt he will, once again, the best value in the market.
