Pixel and Pixel XL – The successors of Nexus smartphones – Pplware

In order to accompany the launch of a new Android version, Google annually launches one or more devices called Nexus.

According to the same source, smartphones presented this year by Google will be identified as Pixel and Pixel XL, resembling the name given by Microsoft to two of their latest devices.

According to the rumors that have emerged in recent times, the Pixel (formerly known as Sailfish) will come equipped with a screen 5″ Full HD supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 820 and GPU Adreno 530, 4 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of internal storage.

For photography, Pixel XL will feature a main camera of 12 MP with Sony IMX378 sensor and a secondary camera of 8 MP with a Sony IMX 178 sensor.

These smartphones will be presented at the upcoming Google event several sources point to 4 October, which will also be presented Google Home Assistant, 4K chromecast and Daydream VR.
