Nexus 5 can receive the final version of Android N – Tudocelular.com

You should already know by now that Google released the first preview of Android N yesterday (9). This test build was released to the latest models of the Nexus family, but the Nexus 5 just getting out. The model manufactured by LG launched in late 2013 and has fully capable hardware to handle Android N, with its quad-core chipset 2.3GHz and 2GB of RAM. But why he did not receive the new version of the system? Perhaps the fact that it has more than 2 years old -. And the estimated time for Google to consider a smartphone as “outdated”

However, there is still hope on the horizon. By analyzing Google’s repository could not find the part related to the Nexus 5. This code indicates that the company is doing tests on the device, which can leave the track that the final version of Android N also come to the smartphone manufactured by LG. We must remember that when the beta Marshmallow was released only a few Nexus were contemplated, but others ended up winning the update when the final version came out.

Nexus 5 hit the market with Android 4.4 KitKat being updated to Lollipop. He received all the updates from Google to date, reaching more current 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Should it be upgraded to Android N, this would be the last version that it would see in his life, but would still be part of the monthly updates of Google security program, as we see the Nexus 10 which is attached to the lollipop, but won an update this month for security flaws corrections.

The LG Nexus 5 is not yet available in Brazilian stores. To be notified when it arrives.
