AOSP source code receives security updates and … – Tudocelular.com

The monthly security update of the Android source code for January is starting to be sent to Nexus devices. The factory images appeared yesterday morning and now we can see the changelogs from the Open Source Android From Project (AOSP), for those interested in knowing more about what exactly was changed or adjusted.

Unlike changes 6.0.1 released in December, the month settings appear to be fully focused on security fixes. Google has a newsletter describing the relevant issues about this aspect of your system discussed in this release (link at the source below the article).

There are also some specific builds for the Pixel C, including one that looks very big. As some of the previous changelogs, this is merely because, technically, starts from a base version (ie Android Wear 5.1.1) and incorporates all the fixes made since então.A another update merely increments a number of compilation, which means that the changes were probably made for proprietary hardware Pixel C or other partitions included with your factory image.

The Android Police released the changelogs for those interested in knowing more detail, and leave the links here. If anything the reader noticed an interesting addition to the security fixes, or perhaps something specific that is fixed and is in the interest of other users know, leave in the comments. Whereas recently been reported bugs in Android Nexus devices, we hope you have been corrected.
