A number of distinct user accounts said the newly released Nexus 5X, the manufacturer LG, present a problem really uncomfortable that makes the yellow device screen than normal. But despite the fear of users (unhappy, tell by the way), Google has promised that will fix this problem and, at first, will replace free units that have the problem.
The company was contacted by several sources but declined to say what the problem is or even how many units are affected by yellow screen. It is estimated that this is a hardware problem, after all, if the software itself Google could correct launching a correction patch.
Initially, users believed that yellowing in the Nexus 5X screen was a problem with a kind of glue that has not dried properly or that, thinking positively, it was a few points with a slight bug that would slowly disappear with normal use. Apparently this is not the case, but the good part is that Google was quick in the solution and will replace the devices with problems.
The new Nexus are not yet marketed in Brazil, but if you live outside the country (or know someone) and your device presents such yellow screen problem, you will need to contact Google’s customer service immediately to report the problem, and have done other users affected by it – and who quickly have received a new smartphone to replace the defective.
While not everyone is willing to invest hard earned money on a smartphone that can come with such a problem on the screen, Google’s replacement program seems to best solution. Some other users reported that they decided to wait patiently and, about a week after the appearance of the problem, the yellow color disappeared and the screen went back to the natural view.
