Nexus 5X and 6P face off in speed test: will result … – Tudocelular.com

When Google revealed its two smartphones for 2015, we saw that some specifications left the concerned users. The company has always focused on offering a cheaper product than is charged by competitors, but that means cuts, even drastic, need to be made to achieve the ideal level. In the case of Nexus 5X we saw Google launch the model with only 2GB of RAM. All though the device does not come to compete with the flagship of the market, but this is the same amount of memory available in the previous model launched in 2013.

But the Nexus 6P came with the controversial chipset Snapdragon 810 that suffers from several problems related to heating. Some devices end up having sacrificed the battery, while others suffer from performance loss. But is that such measures undermine the smartphones from Google? The site Android Headlines conducted a speed test between the two devices, as can be seen below, to start the Android Marshmallow in both and also charge the main native apps system:

The first step of the test is in booting the system. To the surprise of many, the Nexus 5X, even with weaker hardware, can enter the home screen faster than the Nexus 6P. However, the new device manufactured by LG takes 69/2 to deliver the phone ready for use. The model manufactured by Huawei goes beyond to take 76/2 to finalize the boot of Android Marshmallow.

This value gets to be curious, since the Nexus come with the system cleaner can. We may be facing the loss of performance caused by the mandatory encryption Android Marshmallow. Google is seeking to make your system more secure, but instead it ended up sacrificing some performance. The company also requires that other manufacturers do it to launch new smartphones with Android Marshmallow.

And the opening apps? At first we see the Nexus 5X come out ahead, but the slower memory (LPDDR3) against the fastest memory Nexus 6P (LPDDR4) shows that the phablet catches her breath and spends his younger brother. The most critical part is in the second stage, when they are reopened apps that were in RAM. Here we see that the 2 GB Nexus 5X are not enough, where it had to reopen a number of applications, which led the smartphone from LG to take 103/2 to end the test.

The Nexus 6P for Furthermore, not suffered REALOAD problem. He manages to keep open apps and finished the test in only 64 seconds. This makes it clear that even with its problems, the Snapdragon 810 combined with 3GB of RAM delivers a satisfactory performance.
