New Nexus to be launched in October; L arrives on Android … – Digital Look

It’s been almost a year since we launched the Nexus 5 and it’s time for Google to start thinking about renewing the Nexus line. This should happen by the middle of October, when the company will make the HTC Nexus 9, a new line of tablet.

The information that HTC would be the manufacturer of the new Nexus tablets was raised by the Wall Street Journal and confirmed by sources from Android Authority. The appliance must be revealed in 15 or October 16.

For Brazilians it is not as good news, since HTC does not work here, which means that the tablet never make it to market national. However, there are other good news about a possible Nexus smartphone from Motorola. Rumors about the new Nexus phone are still weak, but they take shape little by little.

As always, the arrival of a new Nexus also marks the arrival of a new version of Android, if Android L. The final version of the new operating system will be distributed along with new appliances, but is expected to launch the software only happen on November 1st. From this date you can begin to wait for the update on your smartphone.

It is worth mentioning that everything is still in rumor territory, even though the sources are reliable. Dates also match what was done last year. At the time, Google launched the Nexus 5 and Android KitKat together on October 31.
