Did you know that Nexus devices use codenames fish? – Tudocelular.com

That Google uses sweet name for Android , this is not news to some. But many may not know that the company uses fish names for the Nexus online. Yes, every smartphone has an internal name that is used by the company, and then a simpler and commercial name is created.

Much has been said about rumors about a Motorola device named Shamu. This name refers to the orcas that are used for presentation at water parks that perform concerts heels along with their trainers. Thus, it seems that this is the internal name of Nexus X .

And what are the names of the other Nexus ? The Galaxy Nexus received the internal name of Tuna , a type of fish more known here in Brazil as Atum. The Nexus 4 was named Mako , a species of shark known in Brazil as the shortfin mako shark. Finally, the Nexus 5 who curiously received another name shark, in this case the Hammerhead , known here as hammerhead.

We can then do some caveats. Shamu, a killer whale that is, is not really a fish, but a mammal . However, it remains an aquatic creature. However, we must agree that it will be the largest of the species used by Google as the inspiration for the names of the Nexus line. This is an allusion to the rumors that the Shamu will be a phablet ?
