Modern smartphones are adopting biometrics as a security standard. Except Microsoft with your bet by iris reading, the other big manufacturers prefer to use the fingerprint scanning. And that was precisely the preferred Google’s partners in the creation of the new Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, which are coming to market and enable various tests, including biometric reading speed.
Yesterday we had access to some camera quality comparison of new smartphones created by Huawei and LG, now we have a video showing how fast the screen unlock the Nexus 5X , check.
As we noted in demonstration, the result looks a bit lower than what we have seen recently in tests with competing models, including iPhone 6s, Xperia Z5 and Galaxy Note 5, review the videos below.
Another interesting detail to note is that in a recent poll on All Mobile readers showed a preference for the reader on the front of the device (integrated into the Home button), choosing as second choice the reader on the side (like the Xperia Z5), leaving the sensor on the back as last option.
Finally, those who have not seen the preference of the Redmond giant iris reader can check its operation in the video below, from 1:10 we see the speed of technology and how it allows recognize the same user who is using sunglasses.
And then you think that the LG erred in choosing back to the biometric sensor? The Android device manufacturers should copy the Microsoft switching to digital by the iris as a means of recognition?
