5X Nexus smartphone from Google and LG has been dismantled by iFixit site team to assess the chances of being repaired.
5X Nexus has a 5.2 inch screen (1920x1080px) one Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16 / 32GB of storage space, a front camera of 5MP, a rear camera 12,3MP a fingerprint reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, a battery 2700 mAh, and works with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The iFixit found that the Nexus has a 5X Quick Charge 2.0 module, although disabled, and that various components are modular and can be replaced independently. The Nexus 5X obtained a score of 7 out of 10 on the index ‘repairability’.
