Google releases Android 5.1.1 factory image for the Nexus … – Tudocelular.com

Only 5.4% of Android devices have received Lollipop so far, and an even smaller portion already has the 5.1 version of the little robot system. Much of the manufacturers are still attached to Android 5.0.2, even six months after the release of Lollipop. As the partner of Google trying to meet your schedule and update their devices, the search giant goes on releasing an update after another bringing the version 5.1.1 for the Nexus Player .

The news was released on Android development page, bringing the factory image to the multimedia component of Google. This news comes to be curious, since normally the Google begins to release an update choosing a smartphone line Android One or family Nexus . As Google has not released any note informing all the improvements and fixes, it may bring a few adjustments in the Player of the company.

Last week we find the first evidence of this update the system development page. Version 5.1.1 was cataloged as in testing for Nexus 7 2013 and Nexus 9 , in both its variants without dedicated modem connection. This may explain why Google left the smartphone into the background. Some changes still need to be made to such upgrade work on model with 4G LTE connection.

The build released for the Nexus Player was LMY47V is more current than LMY47S found in the test Nexus 9, but less current report that the LMY47W currently tested with the Nexus 7. We do not know when other members of the Nexus line will receive the news, but the wait may be smaller than many think. Details about the changes should also be revealed when more users get their hands on this new.
