Is this the new Google Nexus 5? - Net & Tech

Today, it seems clearer than ever that LG will manufacture the next Nexus device. New documents released by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) – the regulatory body of the United States, reveals a new smartphone. This smartphone is very similar to the device accidentally revealed in a video posted by Google last week, which many speculate is the Nexus 5 .

A version of a new device with the symbol of the LG back is detailed in documents from FCC regulatory entity, and displays the same hole camera revealed that the device was accidentally leaked a video of Google. Although this aspect of the assignment is missing Nexus device in question. This detail is not uncommon especially in smartphones, which in practice are older revisions of models that are about to leave (prototypes).

These photographs were discovered the site Phonescoop , where it is presented as a model of “Class 2″ . It is very likely that the Nexus 5 is based G2 , as well as the Nexus 4 before was a modified version of the LG Optimus G . Actually, the Nexus series has a long history of being based flagship devices and top of the range. The Nexus S was based on the Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Nexus was based on the Samsung Galaxy S2, for example (although in the end always change its appearance). Specifications may vary in the final version of the Nexus 5, but for the purposes of contextualization, LG G2 chipset comes with a top- Snapdragon-range of 800, which includes a quad-core 2.26GHz. It also features 2GB of RAM.

Assuming this to be the Nexus 5, since it was submitted to the FCC for approval, means it is very close to being announced by Google. Apparently this will be the first device with Android 4.4 KitKat.
