Developer presents unofficial build of Android Marshmallow … – Mobile Xpert

The Nexus newest and current devices on the market already have the upgrade to Android Marshmallow some time ago, but older devices are left out of this new update for lack of support, such as the Nexus S, of 2010.

But for those who still relies on the device and would like to experience the new version of Google’s operating system on your smartphone, the developer Dmitry Grinberg found a way to make this possible. He managed to build a build Marshmallow which is compatible with the device in question.

Obviously for that consumers will be doing so at your own risk, but it is possible to install the build Unofficial Marshmallow with little difficulty. Instructions for this can be found on the developer’s own website, where he explains step by step how to install.

The image can be downloaded also on Dmitry site and may take a few minutes to complete the download as the server it uses is not the most powerful. He suggests users to use the most current bootloader to do this.
