[Nexus 5, Chromecast, Google Wallet Play and yielded an 2013 ... - Xpert Mobile

While some argue that the sale of Motorola to Lenovo was due to the damage that the manufacturer was embittering, Google does not have much to complain about when looking at the numbers from the last quarter of 2013. U.S. $ 16.86 billion in entries and nearly $ 4 billion profit were recorded.

Site Google accounted for about two-thirds of the entries in the box. Motorola raked in $ 1.24 billion, but continued to lose money from the Mountain View giant, about $ 384,000 that weighed the negative U.S. $ 130 million of red staining the spreadsheet from the previous quarter. Here is one reason for the rush to pass the Google problem for Chinese manufacturer.

Excluding Motorola, the numbers were satisfactory thanks to the sales success of Nexus devices (particularly the newest version, Nexus 5) Chromecast, Store and Play with the growing movement of applications and games.

Nikesh Arora, senior VP and business director at Google, reported in a note that the general shift of consumers towards mobile platforms has helped boost business via Google Play, which in turn, is leading more users to choose the payment system Google Wallet. On this last point, Arora points shy means that they are satisfied with the number of users who have, and then immediately observed for the potential shown in the numbers of Android users around the globe.

It is clear that the search giant Google Play bet on strong and Wallet for 2014, but what about another recent acquisition? Patrick Pichette, CFO of Google, stated that the acquisition of Nest is not related to launching devices for the Nexus line (as some rumors have pointed out), but will seek to help her achieve the world market.

No One can not deny that the maneuvers Google are almost always correct, and the success of the recently launched devices should continue getting fatter cash this new year. S oon we will have here in Mobile Xpert review of the Nexus 7 2013 ChromeCast and of course, the Nexus 5
