São Paulo – New evidence reinforces the rumor that a new generation of tablet Nexus 7 arrives this month. This is what the site says Android Authority (AA), specializing in news about the operating system of Google . Besides the possible release date, some specifications of the device also surfaced.

The details were revealed in a strange conversation between an alleged representative of Asus, the company that manufactures the device in partnership with Google, and a consumer. The dialogue was discovered by AA in social network Google+, but had not confirmed its veracity.

If

specifications offered by such representative actually come true, consumers can expect good news for the device. According to him, the new-generation tablet will feature full HD display, resolution 1,920 x 1,200, will come with quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

Other features that should be included to the Nexus 7 II are two cameras, 5 and 1.2 megapixel camera, Android 4.3, 4G LTE network support and Bluetooth 4.0. The company representative also said that the tablet will be revealed at the end of the second quarter, but slipped to punctuate the month July, since this marks the beginning of the third quarter.

Launched in July 2012, the small tablet made success in the U.S., especially given its price. There, the simplest version of the Nexus 7 can be purchased for only $ 199. In Brazil, the device went on sale in early 2013 to more than double its price in the U.S.: 999 reais.

Rumors

Although such information has not been made official by Google or by Asus, they are in line with previous rumors circulating on the web for some time now. The site DigiTimes and consultancy IHS, for example, others are betting on an announcement as early as this month.

Another site, Liliputing, claimed to have obtained documents from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), U.S. government agency that regulates the telecommunications industry, and showing the same specifications released by Android Authority.
