Tests were made in the beta version of Android Marshmallow and Lollipop. The Marshmallow came out the winner of this comparison, something very interesting, especially considering that Android Marshmallow is still in beta, ie a trial that is still not the final stable version which is normally launched for consumers, but used by developers to test their applications on the new system.
According to the site Computer Base, a test was made with the Nexus 5 in stand and Marshmallow went up 2.7 times better, almost managing to 3 times more battery Lollipop, now let’s see … Within 24 hours the Nexus 5 with Lollipop lost 12% of battery, while the unit with Marshmallow lost only 4.5%. In the test of 48 hours, the Lollipop spent 24% and Marshmallow 9%.
Doing the math and setting an example, the Nexus 5 with Lollipop can hold on stand by for 200 hours, while the same device with the new version could stand Marshmallow 533 hours. Since this is a beta version, is likely to final version can still be made more improvements and clear that improvements in battery everybody thanks.
