Google just released a new firmware for the Nexus 7 2013 (Wi-Fi). It was not clear what changes made to the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but it is expected that this update delivered a better performance have largely solved their bugs.

Follow the steps below:
- Download the SDK and extract the file in the root of drive C: in PC
- Download and install the Windows drivers
- Turn off your Nexus
- Call holding the Volume Less + Power button button to enter the fastboot
- Connect your device to your PC to install the drivers
- Go to the uncompressed SDK folder on your PC
- Press Shift + right mouse button
- Select Open Command Window Here
And enter the following commands:
- Fastboot devices
- Fastboot oem unlock
Select Yes in the window that appears on your smartphone with the button Power .
After the procedure finish type fastboot reboot and your phone will reboot. The process can take 2-3 minutes to complete.
Installation via FLASH
The process here is a bit different from the previous. You will have to extract twice the downloaded image until you reach a file in tar format. . It is recommended to use 7zip for this program
After unpacking the image, follow the steps below:
- Turn off your Nexus
- Please Fastboot mode (Less Volume + Power button)
- Connect your Nexus to your PC
- Click the file-all.bat flash file
- Wait until the procedure is completed
- Your phone will restart in about three minutes
If you do not restart automatically, select Recovery when the green robot appears, press Power + Volume Plus button and select “Wipe data / Factory data reset” .
Your Nexus will restart with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop LMY48G. Now enjoy all the new features of this update of the little robot system. Soon, Google will release the list of changes.
