Huawei is the major tipped to be the manufacturer of the new model of the Nexus line of Google. The company consolidated in the low-cost smartphone market, went to work with top-of-line devices recently but still did not get the desired recognition outside China.
According to reports this week by site MyDrivers.com , Huawei was in fact selected to be the next phone manufacturer of the Nexus line, and to further spice up the rumor, handset specifications were also disclosed. As a basis for the smartphone, the company would be using a prototype of the Ascend Mate 8 device, which has its release date set for mid-September this year.
The technical specifications indicate that the phone will be launched with a 5.7-inch screen and processor Snapdragon 810 . This is the same model that has caused overheating problems in some phones and can be replaced by the manufacturer in the not too distant future. Another model’s own Huawei (Kirin) or Qualcomm would also be considered for the device.
