Galaxy Note 4 is, if we look only to the Note line and not to the S line, the best smartphone that Samsung have in Brazil. Across the Nexus 6 is the biggest (literally bigger) and better creation that Google has requested for a company in its Nexus line. So, with so much firepower, I decided to put the two side by side and show their differences and similarities. Bora there?
design
Both smartphones are giants, but nothing comes close to the six huge inches that are on the Nexus 6 and its gigantic body. It carries almost all the details that were present in the Moto X , increasing the scale and also the screen resolution. The footprint is not the most comfortable and it happens because of too thin edges, something that does not appear in Note 4 and its extremely straight sides, but thicker. It is also not the best footprint on the market, but the slightly curved back of the Nexus 6 fits better in the hand than the back straight to your competitor this ring. Both use matte aluminum and rough around the edges, but the Galaxy Note 4 provides a lower quality plastic than the plastic Nexus 6. Here, point to the Nexus 6.
Hardware
The Galaxy Note 4 who arrived in Brazil does not use Qualcomm chip, but a Samsung’s own Exynos 5433 called that runs four cores at 1.3 GHz and four cores at 1.9 GHz. All of this comes accompanied by 3GB of RAM and a GPU Mali-T760. The Nexus 6 will Snapdragon 805 quad-core running at 2.7 GHz, the same amount of RAM and a GPU Adreno 420. In the internal memory Note 4 works with 32 GB, 32 GB or against 64GB Nexus 6. It could be a point for Nexus, if not for the possibility of increasing the Samsung smartphone memory with a microSD of up to 128 GB. Overall performance the Galaxy Note 4 opened faster apps from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Games, testing with Asphalt 8, the Galaxy Note 4 again first carried the track. Finally, the frame rate per second is also higher at the Samsung device, but there is a big enough difference to make the Nexus 6 a loser evil. Point for the Galaxy Note 4.
Camera
The Samsung works very well with camera and this is not today, something that does not happen with the line Nexus since its launch. There are 16 megapixels side Note 4 to 13 megapixels on the Nexus 6. The end result is better pictures in Note 4 both in good light and in darker environments. One more point to Note 4.
Conclusion
In the comparative points Galaxy Note 4 got the better, but the Nexus 6 has an advantage that no Samsung can follow: Android updates. Everything is new comes first in the Nexus line and then is delivered months later for other devices from other manufacturers. Samsung is known as one of the companies longer it takes to deliver the updates on their devices, which is no different in this model. On the other hand, the note 4 shows the S Pen best stylus that exists today with as many extra functions and higher precision. Actually, the winner is the Galaxy Note 4.
