The CyanogenMod 12 increased its list of devices that can receive your installation. After returning to their suite of applications to the Play Store, the Cyanogen group officially announced yesterday (4), that the owners of ASUS Nexus 7 3G 2012 can already enjoy the experience offered by the latest version of alternative firmware.
The CM 12 for this unit is still a nightly version , so it’s always good to note that you may experience bugs. It is based on Android 5.0.2, but clearly brings all the features that built the reputation of CyanogenMod. Remember also that the firmware recently brought back the theme support.
At first, the CM12 had abrido hand of famous feature, allowing customize any interface, from wallpapers to sounds system icons and fonts. Now the manager is back, but with the recommendation that developers recreate the themes for this new version, to suit the framework of Android Lollipop.
The first build for the Nexus 7 owners is now available for download on the official website.
