One of these users decided to remove this case to find out the reason of the defect and noticed the battery was expanding the extent that the device was being used. This expansion was forcing the back cover of the Nexus 6, and so it was starting to come off.
After this revelation, many users began posting saying they are suffering from the same problem after a few weeks of use, while others say they have noticed it so bought the phablet. Motorola said in a Twitter one of the user that they are actually seeing some devices presenting this anomaly.
As this is obviously a manufacturing problem, the affected users are entering contact the company so there is a replacement of appliances. Until then Motorola is conducting the exchange of Nexus 6 satisfactorily, then those affected by the problem are having a new phablet in hand in no time. The company should already be taking the necessary measures so that the number of defective devices decrease. We hope that this problem does not happen when the Nexus 6 finally get here.
