In recent months, rumors suggest that Google was working on developing a second generation tablet Nexus 7. And the expectation about a possible launch of the new device got bigger with the release of pictures and a video of the supposed new Nexus 7 by personnel of Android Central on Wednesday (17).
Based on the images and video, the new device, labeled with the sequence ME571K_PR_SKU2, is produced once again by ASUS . It is believed that the Nexus 7 will be released in two different versions, with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage, bringing other possible specifications as 7-inch LCD display, 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.2 megapixel front.

microUSB entry appears in the bottom center of the device and the power buttons and volume were kept in the same position as the original Nexus 7. The images show the presence of two speakers on the tablet, mentioned in the technical specifications as speakers “superior” and “inferior”, located on the back of the device, one of which is near the entrance microUSB.

For now, Google has not confirmed the launch of the new Nexus 7, but it is speculated that the new device may be announced during a company event scheduled for Oct. 24 in San Francisco, United States.
