One of the most popular tablets on the market, the Nexus 7 can win a new version soon. A report by the respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, obtained by site 9to5Google, indicates that a new Nexus 7 will be presented next week during the Google I / O, Google’s developer conference that starts next Wednesday (15).
According to analyst, the new tablet would be sold at the same price of $ 200 in the U.S. and begin to hit stores in June or July. This information reinforces previous rumors that they realized that sales would begin in July.
The new Nexus would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ 8064 quad-core, and the same 7-inch screen, but with higher resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels.
The new Nexus 7 may also have a 5 megapixel rear camera for photos and charging energy without the use of wires, through the Qi wireless standard.
Successful sales
Since it hit the market in the second half of last year, the Nexus 7 has been a sales success. In Brazil, after a controversy between Google and Asus has delayed the launch of the product, the Nexus 7 has finally arrived about two weeks exclusively on the website of Walmart. Half of the available stock sold out on the first day of sales.
