Google prepares new launcher for Nexus with Android nougat … – Tudocelular.com

Along with the new Nexus, Google should change the design of some key aspects of its official launcher. According to the Android Police , the search giant prepares a launcher without button to open the Application drawer without Fixed bar Search and a new access to Google Now .

the change is especially great time to open the general list of installed apps. Instead of touching the central icon of the start screen, the user must make a bottom-up gesture. In place of the traditional button to display the apps, the launcher will position by default, the shortcut to system settings.

Another novelty is the permanent search of Google, which leaves aside the search bar to be accessed by a floating button on the screen, positioned to the left. By tapping the button, the search bar back and the user types normally. But to pull the new icon to the right, the launcher reveals Google Now.

Occupying the top of the home screen, Google may add a new supposedly fixed calendar widget.

Now when you press the screen for a few seconds to display the launcher menu, Google reserves for the settings button a curious setting : the user can hide the search button and activate the rotation of the launcher. Besides this, the “Show App Suggestions” suggests that the pitcher can display apps ads on the device itself – but it is not known if is enabled by default

Moreover, do not seem to be many changes. However, the Android Police makes it clear that a tested version can still receive modifications until the final release. Until the launch of the new Nexus M1 and S1, several innovations may arise, including a new Now On Tap and Google Assistant debut on the phone.
