Several rumors have been published on the new Nexus devices. We know that both the more powerful version and the cheapest will be produced by HTC and will look inspired by the brand smartphones. Now more information has been leaked on the 2016 Nexus designs, saying only the most powerful version will feature metal body , while the cheapest will continue to use plastic.
The rumors reported to date indicate that both the more expensive version (which goes by the codename Marlin M1) and the cheapest version (code name: Sailfish S1) will be inspired by HTC 10 but only the first will feature the same metal body. This measure is intended to facilitate separation of the target market for the two devices. Ie metal to the line and plastic tops for intermediaries.
