Google releases Android 5.0.2 Image for Nexus 7 WiFi – Tudocelular.com

Definitely, the pace of Android updates is staggering. While some companies struggle to launch editions 5.0 and 5.0.1 of the system, the Google has already put in the square version 5.0.2 . And the first to receive a Factory Image is the tablet Nexus 7 Wi-Fi.

The Android 5.0 was released in November and since then, a number of devices are getting the new major upgrade of the mobile platform Google. It turns out that the Lollipop had a full debut bugs, with many problems of performance and stability. To try to correct the errors, the Mountain View House has released the edition 5.0.1. So much so that some manufacturers like Samsung, plan to jump directly to this more stable update.

The Google gears, however, do not stop, and the company already released the Android 5.0.2 . Probably, we will have a new round of bug fixes that came from toast on Android 5.0. Of course, there is another line of devices that receive as fast as the Nexus. Therefore, the first device to make the update will be the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi.

Apparently, 5.0.2 seems to be a little more important than the previous one, 5.0.1. Google seems to have fixed most important errors like what happened to the MountService, that should start before the performBootDexOpt. Other important changes related to NAND are also embedded in this update.

Another feature, Fstrim , introduced in Android 4.3, brought serious problems in the Lollipop. When you shut down your smartphone with Android 5.0, Fstrim gave problems when the system was restarted, especially on devices with limited NAND. Fortunately, this update 5.0.2 seems to have more fixed this problem.

The factory image of the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi can now be purchased at the Android Developers page. We do not know, however, when the edition 5.0.2 is available to other platform devices.

The Asus Google Nexus 7 is not yet available in online stores. To be notified when it arrives click here.
