Remix OS 2.0 , operating system based on Android, was released on Monday (11) for Nexus 9 tablets and Nexus 10 bringing its main feature, the opening of apps in multiwindow . The Jide software became famous at the beginning of the year to offer a viable alternative to using Android 5.0 on desktop PCs, thanks to a modified interface that opens apps in floating windows such as Windows and other conventional computer systems.
In addition to the multiwindow, the Remix OS leads to Nexus devices same features seen in the PC version , Mac and the Remix Mini and Star Jide Remix tablet, which resemble the features present in Windows 10 and OS X.
- lower bar with commonly used apps shortcuts
- screen from right to notification area
- native file manager with drag and drop
- Support for external memory
- Support for keyboard shortcuts
To install Remix OS on the Nexus tablet, you need to have knowledge about the application of custom ROMs on the unit, a task that requires unlocking the bootloader and the command line usage PC with a USB-connected device. The advantage is that once installed, the Remix OS can be updated over the air, without the need to repeat the laborious process to get new features and bug fixes.
