There was a time that entry to the microSD card, responsible for expanding the internal memory of the handheld devices, was considered an indispensable factor in modern appliances. Currently, however, the lack of support for such accessory is becoming commonplace in the mobile phone market, and it is not pleasing to most users who are fans of Android. The Nexus line, for example, designed by Google and manufactured by partner, always dismissed the alternative of adding more space to store music, apps, movies and other files compatible with the operating system little robot, but this may change in 2016, and the site Android Pit met three reasons to believe in this event.
Android can support, correctly, microSD
The latest version of the Mountain Giant of the virtual environment view, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, there is native support for microSD. But that does not existed before? Yes, but it was a complete mess, because Google believed it should manage the internal memory of the device separately from the additional value offered by microSD card. This time, however, the US company ‘took way’ and, with the Adaptable Storage Devices technology enables unified control of both styles of digital spaces. Another issue addressed is currently also the ancillary reading speed. Previously, I had to just accept that the microSD would be slower than the native cell module, however, at present, the new cards are made in UHS-II standard, with a speed of reading and equivalent shipment (or even higher) the internal memory of modern mobile phones. And all this with proper security, also found in Marshmallow where additional layers of protection were implemented, just to promise that no unauthorized access.
The cloud are not a reliable basis
For use microSD cards if you have the cloud? Because the cloud is not the technology that the world needs at least on mobile phones. When using an informed technology in access to cloud servers, companies assume that all consumers have lifetime access to the internet, with good coverage by operators and, of course, a large amount of bandwidth, which, especially in Brazil , is not true. Thus, the use of packages in the cloud, which cost monthly or annual figures, would be paid, but would not be accessible 24 hours a day because, on the subway, in the apartment, at work or anywhere else, there will always be a chance of connectivity fails.
Up Samsung seems to have changed his mind
Who faithfully follows the mobile market should remember huge uproar that happened when Samsung introduced the Galaxy S6. The confusion happened because the company based in South Korea removed the microSD slot of his flagship, contradicting all its standard implemented in the older members of the online Galaxy S. Still, after all that had happened, it seems that the Asian company will return back on his decision to leave the microSD card, since all the rumors related to the Galaxy S7 affirm the presence of such a feature in the future flagship of the Eastern brand.
So, is that the next Nexus will actually have a microSD card? Share your thoughts in the comments.
