Google chooses a partner to produce the Nexus line based on the performance of such a name in the current market. To create the smartphone, sources familiar with the matter say the name selected is the Motorola . Codenamed Shamu , the phone has appeared a few times in the media.
With specifications worthy of first place on the podium, it appears that the newly acquired company Lenovo is developing a bulky, expensive device. Several information are still a mystery, however, it is speculated that an official announcement is going to happen still in October .
If everything is right, Google and Motorola will present the Nexus X or Shamu on 15 or 16 of this month . It is not the first time that the date is cited, and now the Wall Street Journal itself “confirmed” the data. The device has already left a trail on benchmarks with the supposed settings:
- QUAD HD screen of 5.9 inches
- 805 CPU Snapdragon quad-core 2,65GHz
- GPU Adreno 420
- 3GB of RAM
- 32GB of memory (getting only 23GB user available)
Of course, no topic on the subject was approached by the duo and the mystery still hangs in the air. If the rumors about the validation happens, the successor to the Nexus 5 will cost US $ 419 (approximately R $ 1,000 excluding taxes) at the beginning of their commercialization. We’ll eagerly await some official pronouncement.
