Motorola Nexus 6: what we know so far – Tudocelular.com

Line Nexus is one of the darlings of Google. After all, is more than a product, it is a concept. As the Material Design is a guideline for developers to know how the owner of Android want your applications to look, the Nexus is for the manufacturers know how a smartphone with the Google mobile system should be. And now, new rumors reinforces the Motorola may be responsible for designing the newest star of the search giant.

As always, there are many rumors. And even if not all are confirmed, we have together the pieces of the puzzle. First, the rumbles began indicating that the next Nexus smartphone from a manufacturer would be Motorola. Even it was suspected that the first sketches of the device were the time where the company owns the Moto X still belonged to Google.

Shortly after, appeared a mysterious Motorola device code-named Shamu. The device in question appeared to have a screen of 5.9 inches and resolution Full HD . New rumors, however, point to a slightly different configuration from the one before.

Supposedly the Motorola codenamed Shamu was discovered in the benchmark AnTuTu. The technical specifications were submitted to a processor Snapdragon 805 3GB of RAM 5.2 inch screen . Possibly the hardware change indicates that the device of 5.9 inches was still a prototype, and these new features must be well close to the final product.

Still, it is worth noting that Shamu and the Moto X +1, the successor of Moto X, should not they are the same device. After all, everything indicates that the processor Moto X + 1 would still be a Snapdragon 801, not the 805 that may be present in Shamu / Nexus6.

Now, new evidence of the device were found. Recently the device was listed in Zauba . This is a famous importer located in India. As we can see in the picture below, a product with the name Shamu Phones (prototype) (for demo purposes) XT1112 made the list ta importer.

The device is listed with a value of 34,982 Indian rupees , which gives us approximately $ 570 . Also called – in the attention given to the numbering unit: XT1112 . As we can see in the list below, the device does not mention any other Motorola smartphone with upcoming release:

• Moto G2 : XT1063 / XT1068 / XT1069
 
• Moto X + 1 Verizon : XT1096

 

• Moto X + 1 GSM : XT1097
