Nexus 5 red can be launched in March in Asia - Tecmundo

Yesterday (23), the Tecmundo published an article which featured images of a supposed page of Google Play selling colored versions of Nexus 5. That material, however, is pretty much confirmed as false by suspicions of manipulation, according to the site that originally leaked content.

Still, the same day also showed this new image of an alleged Nexus 5 red, which is to be released in Vietnam. What you see on the picture is a prototype of the color device that can see the light of day until March, according to the Vietnamese publication.

By now, you’ve probably noticed that the red color of this leaked version of Nexus 5 does not look a bit like red wine showed that the previous rumor. Otherwise, the Asian site still says that there is a yellow model should go on sale the same day as the red. These predictions, however, are only for Vietnam, which may represent an unlikely exclusive launch for the country.

There is no price forecast for these devices or comments about a possible worldwide release. Anyway, it’s strange to imagine that Google would launch 5 new colors of the Nexus first in the Asian country at the expense of its larger markets such as North America and Europe. That and the contradictions with previous rumors, it is necessary to look at this new leak with extreme caution.
